Create unique reports by using filters

You need admin rights to do this.

If you would like to create such report that is impossible to create in MiniCRM but all data is available in the system, the best solution is to use Google Sheets.

What does this mean?

  • You can sync MiniCRM filters with Google Sheets.
  • The list in the Google Sheets is changing as the card list is changing in the filter. (Google updates the data hourly, that’s why it won’t be 100% up-to-date compared to the filter.)
  • Feel free to create unique reports by using the data in Google Sheets.

Let’s see what you should do

  1. Create a filter and save it.
  2. Select the grid view and add the necessary conditions.
  3. Click the Export button below the filter and choose the Synchronize with Google Spreadsheet option.
  4. Accept the data protection consent
  5. Set the Shared option instead of Not shared
  6. Copy the function, that is displayed, to an empty Google Sheet.
Do not modify the function, otherwise, the data will not be shown in the spreadsheet.
The data you synced can be only read so create the report on another tab of the spreadsheet and use functions to utilize the data.
If you copy the function to a spreadsheet where there is already some data and the columns of the shared filter would hide the data, the table won’t be synced. Only copy the shared filter to an empty tab.
