{"id":4011,"date":"2017-06-26T13:53:28","date_gmt":"2017-06-26T11:53:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.minicrm.hu\/help\/?p=4011"},"modified":"2017-11-17T12:06:40","modified_gmt":"2017-11-17T11:06:40","slug":"how-to-prepare-your-spreadsheet-before-the-import","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helpdev.minicrm.io\/help\/how-to-prepare-your-spreadsheet-before-the-import\/","title":{"rendered":"How to prepare your spreadsheet before the import"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Header of the table<\/h2>\n<p>MiniCRM recognizes the relevant fields to which data should be imported based on the name of the header.<\/p>\n<div class=\"alert alert-info\"><strong>There are four types of data that can be imported: Card, Company, Person, Address (<a href=\"..\/how-to-import-more-contact-persons\/\">you can import more than one person and address to a company<\/a>)<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>To import a company&#8217;s name, name the header of the company name column like this:\u00a0<strong>Company: Company name<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>To import a qualification, name the header like this:\u00a0<strong>Opportunity: Qualification<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>To import the email address of a person\/contact person, name the header like this:\u00a0<strong>Opportunity: Email<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>To import a city, name the header like this: <strong>Address1: City<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"alert alert-info\">Here you can find a <a href=\"https:\/\/d26cfm2pfnephr.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2015\/07\/MiniCRM_Import_EN_AutoSalesV2.xlsx\">Sample file<\/a>.<\/div>\n<h2>Structure of Rows<\/h2>\n<p><strong>One row = one customer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make sure that a company\/person is only entered into one row, otherwise, data can be mixed up.<\/p>\n<h2>Structure of Columns<\/h2>\n<p><strong>One column =\u00a0one data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make sure that the data of your customers (name, email address, phone number etc.) is only entered into one row.<\/p>\n<h2>Email addresses<\/h2>\n<p>Make sure that the format of the email addresses is correct, otherwise, the row will not be imported.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"legorduloesjelolo\">Dropdown lists and Checkboxes<\/h2>\n<p>To import successfully, the value to be imported have to be exactly equal to the field value in MiniCRM.<\/p>\n<p>The most common field is\u00a0<strong>Person: Position.<\/strong>\u00a0You can find pre-defined values, for example, <strong>Chief Executive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Correct value: Chief Executive<\/li>\n<li>Wrong values: chief executive, chiefexecutive, Chief executive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"alert alert-danger\">Make sure that\u00a0all characters are identical.<\/div>\n<h2>Date field<\/h2>\n<p>You should type the date in the following format: DD-MM-YYYY-HH:MM \/ 08-10-2017 10:00.<\/p>\n<h2>Number field<\/h2>\n<p>It is easy, you can import numbers. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Header of the table MiniCRM recognizes the relevant fields to which data should be imported based on the name of the header.
